The history in our textbooks are all wrong?! In the 24th century, humankind accomplished the invention of a time machine, “Time Bokan”. As they discover the truth about history, they realize that the history written in their textbooks are all wrong! To correct their knowledge of history, the government developed an organization called JKK. Our hero Tokio is recruited by Karen, a girl from the future to join the JKK. Together they travel through time to discover the true history, along with fighting the “Akudarma” a villainous group whose goal is to prevent the discovery of the truth!

A mysterious stone known as Skull Stone (???????, Dokurosut?n?) is scattered across the planet, and it holds the power to reveal the location of the largest deposit of gold in the world. The "Doromb? (?????, Doromb??) Gang, the villain trio of the series, is on pursuit of fame, power and wealth as they search for the Skull Stone. However, their plans are constantly foiled by Yatterman, the heroic, mechariding duo of youngsters of the series. Unlike the previous series, Yatterman does not cover any specific time/space travel. Instead, the places the characters travel to and the individuals they meet are either an homage or parody. The fictional characters or places are usually represented by purposely misspelled names or familiar actions. For example, a revolution leader is named "Yashington" as a homage to George Washington; and a place resembling ancient Japan is named "Yametai", as a spoof of Yamatai.

Set in the near future, the world is shaken by a couple of young thieves named Kiramekiman, who issue warnings before they go into action. Once they set their sights on a target, they never fail to steal it. Meanwhile, a detective trio is in pursuit of the Kiramekiman group but are unable to catch them. Secretly, the goal of Kiramekiman is actually noble, since they are only stealing certain objects in order to maintain peace in the future.

Time Bokan (?????? Taimubokan?) is a Japanese anime series first aired on Fuji TV from October 4, 1975. It was produced by Tatsunoko Productions, who later produced eight spin off programs as part of the "Time Bokan Series" and three modern shows. The series promoted the idea of heroes helping others and stoping the planes of three people who were being led by a "King of Evil" (idea later used in Pokemon for Team Rocket).

In the 1990s-era Osteandel City is the headquarters of Time Lease, a business that leases almost everything you could ask for including powerful robots. They are proud of themselves for being number one in the international ranking of billionaires, for the past ten consecutive years. Meanwhile there is another lease company in the same city called Skull Lease where the notorious villain trio work as top executives. Their ostensible object is to disgrace the credit of Time Lease and replace them as the leading enterprise. In fact, however, they have a scheme to secure a footing for world conquest. One day a transport robot of Time Lease is assaulted by the villain trio and it is time for Ippatsuman to get on the move to fight for justice.

Rescueman, known in Japan as Time Patrol Tai Otasukeman (?????????? ????????? ?????? Taimubokanshir?zu Taimupator?ru-tai Otasukeman), is the fourth in the Time Bokan series. Burning with ambitions to become the most beautiful woman, the most renowned scientist, and the greatest hero the world has ever known, three villains - Atasha, Sekobitchi and Duwarusuki - join forces. The trio appear as Time Patrollers, the keepers and protectors of the annals of history. But this is only a cover for the trio, as the villains are league with a nefarious leader, who is trying to alter the course of history to suit his desires. Under the instructions of the leader, the trio travel in time with the aim of tampering with recorded history. Only Hikaru and Nana, disguised as the Rescuemen, stand between the villains and their goals.
