Gegege no Kitarou (1968)

Kitaro is the last of the ghost tribe, with strong magical powers and a righteous heart. There is no school, no exams, no nothing for ghosts, so he usually lives a carefree and relaxed life. However, once you throw a letter asking for help into the ghost mailbox, he will come to you with the sound of clogs. He is armed with his father's wisdom (an eyeball), a magical vest woven from his spiritual hair, and a geta that can be flown at will like a remote control. For the sake of humanity, Kitaro fights fiercely against a succession of eerie and formidable monsters. With his self-proclaimed best friend, the greedy and selfish Mouse Man, he solves cases and leaves without a trace, asking for neither reward nor fame.
