"Fairilu" are fairies of flowers, insects, mermaids, or other entities that are born from "Farilu Seeds." All Fairilu are born with their own key, and they must search to find and open the door that fits only their key. Once the Fairilu pass through the doors, they mature. The doors are also related to the human world.

Suite au succès de l'opération "Flamme Fantôme" lancée par l'Empire Abh, les forces de l'Union Humaine ont été mises en déroute. La flotte Impériale entre maintenant dans une nouvelle phase de son plan: sécuriser les secteurs nouvellement conquis, et reprendre les systèmes laissés à l'abandon lors de la retraite de l'union. Initialement prévue pour un objectif purement militaire, la flotte manque d'ambassadeurs et de porte-paroles à envoyer auprès des différents gouvernement planétaires. Cette tâche échoit donc aux capitaines de vaisseaux. C'est dans ce contexte que Lafiel et Jinto se voient attribuer la prise de contrôle d'une petite planète isolée, une mission de routine pour laquelle la jeune princesse n'a que peu d'intérêt, malgré les devoirs que lui impose son statut. A leur grande surprise, il semblerait que la seule île habitée de la planète soit en fait une colonie pénitentiaire dans laquelle sont exilés certains criminels de l'Union. Pire, la récente défaite des forces spatiales de l'humanité à entrainé le départ d'une grande partie des forces militaires stationnées sur place. Ne restent donc que les gestionnaires de l'île, leurs familles, un nombre réduit de gardiens entourés de criminels endurcis, qui bien entendu profitent de l'occasion qui leur est donnée pour se libérer et clamer la prise de contrôle de la colonie. En incluant les responsables officiels, c'est donc pas moins de quatre factions souhaitant faire valoir leurs droits auprès de l'Empire qui menacent de déclencher une véritable guerre civile sur l'île et les Abhs, plus habitués aux affrontements spatiaux (et n'ayant pas prévu le coup) n'ont que peu de moyens pour maintenir l'ordre en surface (même si un bombardement orbital reste envisageable). Ce qui devait donc n'être qu'une simple mission diplomatique de routine se transforme donc en situation extrêmement périlleuse pouvant avoir de funestes résultats si la prudence n'est pas de mise.

Les soeurs Aï, Ami, Mi, et leur montant éligible maximum, une femme androïde de charge habitent dans une maison mystérieuse qui les transporte par le temps et l'espace. Les soeurs essayent de localiser un certaine personne censée tenir les réponses sur leurs questions. Leur méthode particulière de transport, cependant, ne vient pas sans son propre ensemble d'inconvénients douloureux...

C'est le nouveau semestre au lycée Renbidai. Honami, une amie d'enfance vient chercher Naoki, un jeune homme vivant chez son oncle et sa tante depuis quelques années. Sur le chemin de l'école, ils rencontrent Matsuri, la cousine de Naoki en première année au lycée et qui a donc emménagé dans la famille de Naoki. C'est un jour normal pour tout le monde, enfin presque. Lors de la pause-déjeuner, Naoki voit apparaître dans le ciel une jeune fille possédant de grandes ailes blanches. Personne ne semble faire attention à cette apparition à part Naoki. Ces ailes disparues, elle tombe dans les bras de Naoki qu'elle ne cesse d'appeler Yuusuke. Qui est-elle ? Mikoto, une élève étrangère qui va intégrer le lycée et le club d'astronomie dont Naoki est membre, à partir de ce jour.

L'histoire se déroule après la fin de la série To Heart.
Nous suivons une nouvelle fois Hiroyuki et Akari, qui sont maintenant en 3ème année de lycée.
Ils retrouvent alors tous leurs amis, à l'exception de Multi, le robot domestique testé l'année précédente au sein de leur lycée.
En effet, celle-ci est retournée dans le laboratoire où elle a été conçue, afin de créer la prochaine génération de robots domestiques grâce à ses données.
C'est donc dans une ambiance plutôt terne que l'année commence.
Mais une surprise de taille attend Hiroyuki et Akari...
